Communication is part of the routine of every people and institutions. For communication at FURG to get professional treatment and to be a strategic element in the construction of institutional positioning and relationships, there is an agency with specific technical knowledge for that: the Communication Office. It is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and integrating the communication activities in the University.

With the integration of journalism, public relations, audiovisual and digital media, the Communication Office (“Secom”) manages the institutional communication at FURG with content production, management of channels, relationship with the institutional strategic audience, the press office, organization of events, ceremonial and protocols, and help to teaching, research and extension activities.
