The undergraduate program in Biological Science aims to provide professionals with a broad view at all levels of biological organization; preparing professionals to act as teachers of Science and Biology, being aware of their social responsibility and trained to generate basis knowledge for teaching, scientific, technological and sociocultural activities; having graduates initiated into the scientific method; developing creativity, critical thinking and scientific reasoning; valuing the formative aspects; and encouraging the development of a professional and human attitude compatible with the current needs of society.
