Civil servants are a fundamental element for the University to fulfill its purpose of educating people. In order to guarantee that the institutional work is collective, humanized and based on the public interest, the Pro-Rectory of Personnel Management and Development (“Progep”) develops activities in the area of human resources.

Progep’s work begins even before the personnel join the University, by public admission processes. Progep is responsible for welcoming the newcomers with integration activities, following up a traineeship period, carrying out working assessments and personnel development, in addition to promoting training and continuing education activities.

Progep also takes care of personnel’s health by pursuing a healthy working environment, distributing safety equipment and providing guidance and services to promote physical and mental health.
